What is a Wiki?

Put simply, a wiki is a kind of collaborative web site. Anyone can edit a page, add or subtract content from a page, and create new pages. In fact, you can try it right now in the sandbox.

ComWiki is powered by MediaWiki, the same software used by Wikipedia. Anyone is free to read any article on this wiki, add new articles, and edit unprotected articles. However, some of the pages have been protected so they may only be edited if you are logged in as a registered user, and a few pages (like this one) can only be edited by the administrators.
